Coral Reef is a great place to avoid the afternoon heat and grab some delicious food. It’s also a great place to relax as you watch more than 4,000 sea creatures float by, including rays, sea turtles and sharks.
Disney have recently announced that some new additions will be coming to the already delicious menu.
Chef Keith Schockling has told us that the items include:
Charbroiled Octopus with Nori Sushi Rice
Served with sesame slaw and a soy reduction; a lump crab cake with watercress-citrus salad and a classic remoulade; seafood salad with Gulf Shrimp and mahi mahi in a citrus marinade with a little kick from serrano peppers, a little sweetness from mango sorbet and crisp plantain chip, and a seasonal house salad – for summer it’s mixed greens, raspberry vinaigrette, fresh berries, feta cheese and sunflower brittle.
Served with spice-crusted tuna, rice noodles, charred bok choy, crisp shiitakes, pickled vegetables and broth (substitute tofu for tuna if you prefer).
Bone-in Roasted Pork Chop
Served with potatoes, creamy pimento cheese, braised greens and a honey-barbecue vinaigrette.
And what looks like a delicious dessert
Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce
Rich in citrus, served with candied pecans and salted caramel gelato.
